  1. North Wing Model Craft produce a 1/72 eight blade Hawkeye prop is that's any use. Here I've ordered from them directly before without any hassle, pretty quick service too. Update: its shows them out of stock but you may find stock elsewhere. Cheers Si
  2. As far as I understand it, boxing E39 (01569) gets you nearer to a more accurate E but it still needs some fettling done to it depending on how accurate you want to go. You could also you use F-15I (02028), F-15K (02070) and F-15 SG (02092) boxings Si
  3. Hi Orion I think John meant modelsua.com I looks like a DANmodel ladder cheers Si
  4. Hi Peter The TO tailcode belongs to the the 606th SOS at Nakhon Phanom. The Zorro's camo scheme was two greens/ dark grey with black undersides and in some photos its pretty hard to see any demarcation of the scheme. The tailcode was indeed painted black In Steve Ginter's book on the T-28 there is an outline profile for a aircraft of the 606th in overall light grey which might be what your photo is showing under the camo scheme. Hope this helps Si

  9. Hi Mike Basically the free Photoshop download was an almighty own goal by Adobe, it was never mean't to be free to everyone but only users who had a legitimate copy of the CS2 suite who complained when the activation servers were shut down. But then again if you are going to put up download links AND codes you reap what you sow. The download page is still available but it seems you need an Adobe account to get to it. PM on way. Cheers Si
  10. Postie kindly dropped the latest addition to the stash on the doorstep this morning. Si
  11. Hi Jennings CMR used to make a 1/72 L-23 Super Blanik / TG-10 Merlin but its been OOP as far as I know for a while. Bit strange really as they still have the L-13 and L-33 available. Cheers Si
  12. Hi Andy I got some Obscureco F-100 flap sets from Lonewolf Models (in deepest Somerset ) admittedly a fair old while ago. Just had a look at their site and they are no longer listed. Might be worth dropping them a line to see if they are just out of stock of them or have stopped selling them full stop. They may be able to point you in the right direction as to who else may be importing them over here. Si

  17. Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this but you really couldn't make it up The world-famous Red Arrows have been banned from appearing at the 2012 London Olympics because they are deemed "too British". Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport !!!!! have deemed the display team "too militaristically British". Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before. Being axed from a British-based event for being "too British" is an insult - the Arrows are a symbol of Britain. The Red Arrows have been excellent ambassadors for British overseas trade, as they display their British-built Hawk aircraft all over the world. The Arrows performed a short flypast in 2005 when the winning bid was announced, but their flypast at the Games was to have been truly spectacular. It is to be hoped that common sense prevails, so if you disagree with the government's decision, please follow the link and sign the petition. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/RedArrows2012/?ref=redArrows2012 Simon
