  1. looking for it, but most links I found are UK based...guess i'm going to have to take a hit on duties.... don't get it, but some scans would be great!
  2. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/sharkit-early-jet-engines-set--165610
  3. If you have trouble finding Vector stuff, contact him a barter can be arranged.
  4. Good collection of pictures here, some even with dimensions.... https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/heinkel-jet-engines.50536/page-2#lg=attachment525324&slide=0
  5. Bozothenutter is a sad nutter..... Was looking forward to an israeli mezek...
  6. @Pajarito no racism was intended, my roots are in Suriname, my family still live there. I also know that in the countries I visited for work, it was very hard to get things done and on time. (same for Africa btw) Even here in NL people from Suriname still joke about 'South American time' when discussing times for parties for example.
  7. Isn't the 105mm KT a whif? I don't think it ever got off the drawibg board.
  8. Shapewise it doesn't look too difficult. Though that shape is only the start, then you need to add all the details.
  9. Ever been to South America? "What are you worrying about, the fuselage is closed, it flies, where's the problem?"
  10. I think you should summon the @Tbolt With the proper offering he wil come.....
  11. My kind of thinking! Vac windows maybe even bodyparts. PE only for stuff made out of flat sheet. Parts that are different colours need to be seperate. (I'm a bit of a modelling fanatic with more ideas than skill....🤣🤣)
  12. is there anywhere that offers digital version of back issues? My regular sources come up quite empty.....
  13. I think a K/M would create a 'problem' for Airfix, by creating a demand for other Phantoms. Like Tamiya, Airfix aren't known for exhaustingly producing different versions, I think the Hunter is the furthest I've seen them go. They seem to be creating a niche with UK airframes. But be honest, which would you rather have an Airfix 'toom or a ZM/Meng 'toom?
  14. I don't offend that easily....😉 The 'grating' started when my kids (who are mixed) started going to school and asking for the 'skin colour' pencil. Somebody somewhere must have said " if you can't change the small things, how are you going to change the big ones?"
  15. Don't mind long, just hate video for some reason. Thank you for this, exactly what I was looking for! (Especially the materials/appearance bit) Looking into drawing wing spars for the ZM 190A-4 atm, I have some drawings and some dimensions. Trying to translate what dimensions I have into coordinates 🤯
  16. Been studying FW190 restorations, and it seems there were indeed very few ribs attached to the spar. The rest of the ribs were formed by formers on the upper and lower wing skin, which when put together formed another rib.
  17. As a person of colour.....'flesh' has more than one colour. I'm sure it's not intentional, but it grates a bit.
  18. Anybody know what they are based on? I have seen his name pop up fron time to time, and always held in high regard.
  19. Never understood the need for three view drawings. They are never made from factory blueprints. For me they're just artwork.
  20. I'd seen that weird tapering pattern of the rivets on hyperscale, but couldn't be bothered to check it. But does look really really weird. More importantly why make something up?
  21. Might want to check again, as I remember reading somewhere that 'dual combo' in this case means you can build two versions, not two kits. Then again, maybe not, as they seem to include two sets of PE belts.
  22. Any available anywhere? Actual blueprints, not GA drawings. Particularly interested in the ribs on the radial 190. The plan is to suoerdetail the wing innards of the ZM kit. I have some random jumbled blueprints, but nothing on the wings. Although from looking at the parts catalogs the 190 didn't have 'conventional' ribs? It looks as if the outer skin was reinforced, and the parts aft of the main spar were some sort of 'clamshell'?
  23. Found this.. https://www.ebay.nl/itm/145109238619?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=1346-175129-2357-0&ssspo=XZWC5ZevRSa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=DXdSsnD0ST6&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Had a good look, but it's VERY rough. It looks to be FDM printed, not resin printed.
  24. Lovely build! I like you separating the glass. Will you 'fit' it to the surrounds to make it sit less deep?
