  1. I mailed about a year ago concerning the Heinkel He 45. Same answer (perhaps autoreply :-) ) . I built there Polikarpv R5 a few years ago, there quality is briliant! Cheers, Nico
  2. Hello, I do not know is the Danish Fokker CV's were made by the Fokker company from The Netherlands but they were usually light grey during that period. Cheers, Nico
  3. I think Roden kits are pretty good. They need a bit more attention / modelling skills then WNW but can be put into very very good models. Cheers, Nico
  4. Well Paul, I think your idiosyncratic version of the Dutch language is perfect for Google translation into English :-). Groetjes, Nico
  5. Why not takes Paul's own report of this kit (well more or less he did a few things to it ;-) ) http://www.modelbrouwers.nl/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=103&t=19088 I bet you couldn't find it Paul, even after 20 cups of English (yeagh) coffee! Cheers, Nico
  6. Very nice, built all of 'm myself a few years ago. Yours look better though! Cheers, Nico
  7. That's what I like to see! :-) Cheers,Nico
  8. I went for the woodgrain effect simply by the explanation as on the WingnutWings website: http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/hintsandtips (stage at bottom). I only used different colors. Revell's 314 as base, and two coats of "Raw Sienna" oil paint streaked out with a sponge. And yes, it's 48 scale! Cheers, Nico
  9. Well plenty has been said about this modelkit on this forum, here's how I did mine: For me it was big fun doing this one, very well engineered kit, Only thing I did not like was the attachement of the lower wings. It's the Profipack version, but my version is also for sale as a Weekend Edition. I know,... these guys ain't Hungarians, they are Germans (on a visit) On to the next one, cause I wanna do more of these! Cheers, Nico
  10. Just ordered the Rumpler CIV "late version", that's a lot of lozenge included. Since I saw a real one in Munich a few years ago which is Lozenge covered, that's my goal! Cheers, Nico
  11. Looks good to me :-) Cheers, Nico
  12. That's a nice offer! A friend of mine used the set a couple of years ago and made this out of it: Cheers, Nico
  13. Well went for the old fashion way with mine, and used oil paint streaked over sandcolor. This is how far I got untill now: Yours looks great!! Got a message todat from HGW decals, they gonna send me a new sheet. I will probably use it on mu weekend edition I received today. Adding bottom wings was most difficult part so, very flimsy! Cheers, Nico (who's finally again on a WW1 course after many 1930's biplanes :-)
  14. I used the set stating : Base White. Cheers, Nico P.s. I hope they work for you. I go for the "old fashion" way and that is oil paint.
  15. I am building one as well at the moment. First profi Pack issue. As far as I am concerned more then a perfect kit, but I do not need the engine cover. Still all other parts fit like a glove. Drawback I experienced were HGW DECALS's for woodgrain. They simply fell apart easily. Mailed HGW about this, no reaction. Cheers, Nico
