Hi all, here's a picture of what I'm planning to build for the GB. both in 1/35Th scale and tamiya. Mk1 Merkava and Japanese light armoured vehicle with figures.

The merkava is a tank i have always admired but never built so this is a first for me. I'm planning to detail it a little. the Japanese vehicle is going to get the voyager etched set thrown at it and a small dio built for it and the figures

I am in the proses of gathering information and pictures for the builds and working out if i should build both together or separately.

cheers

Pete

Pete, I've got quite a few pictures of the Japanese in Iraq on my HD - I'll post em up for you when I get chance.

And wouldn't you know it, I picked up that figure set today myself ;) Was thinking of picking up a suitable kit to pose them around at Fairford.

I did say I wasnt feeling well :yikes: I might as well build something Ive actually driven and dossed in many a time, and what better way to build my first WheelyThingy than in a GB. Thanks for the chance Pete :thumbsup2:

I made that Bedford for a diorama last year :tapedshut: , IIRC the fit was fairly good and it marked one of my first "wheely thingys"!

I wasn't very apt at masking at the time and the one piece clear upper cab piece came out a bit crap :(

However I'm sure you'll make a good job of it!

Have fun Bex!

Cheers

I would like to join this "merry band" with my first all resin armor kit, that is, a M26A1 Pershing, 1/72, from Tracks & Troops. The prototype used by the U.S.Army during the Korean war.
