PhantomBigStu
Couldn't wait till the start of the f-16 stgb so going to do this as a warmup, built the CJ boxing already so familiar with the kit Edited January 10, 2017 by PhantomBigStu
PhantomBigStu
And I've started it, though not done much, figured why I've been reluctant to sit down at the bench the last few weeks, the room gets really dingy in the winter, figured a solution, took the airfix boxes I have accumulated, cut up the white bits and the stapled them togethor to cover the bench, much brighter especially with the lamp on

PhantomBigStu
Forgot I had yet to paint the nozzle up, so painted it, and cleaned up the canopy gap, so it's now glossed for decals. Funny how things get forgotten, noticed today I completely failed to paint the intake on the first one white, quite a howler, also forgot to paint the square panel on the spine metal, a more excusable error, not so excusable is I've just noticed I've repeated the error Edited January 5, 2017 by PhantomBigStu

PhantomBigStu
top decals are on, seems one of the walkways was short printed (or a bit broke away without my noticing), maybe I can mix paint to match and carefully paint it in, we'll see
