The heavens have opened again but I managed to get the post-shading done on the Neutral Grey.

Once that's all settled properly I'll get her masked up for some Olive Drab.

Thanks for looking,

Masked up and a couple of misty coats of a lightened Olive Drab.

It was lightened with some Lemon Yellow.

The variation shows up a lot more in flash photography than in natural light but i'm not too worried about that.

The next step will be some post shading with the same OD mix plus some Buff to fade it further.

This will be thinned with about 80% thinner as was done on the Neutral Grey undersides.

After that I'll get her unmasked and see how it looks.

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,

Alistair

Great progress. I think I should try the mottling technique for my next project!

Thanks David,

It's a nice quick and easy way of adding a little variation.

All looking good Alistair.

As for the bloody weather, it has been the same down South mate.

Simon.

Thanks Simon,

It's finally stopped here and the sun is out,, thankfully.

I won't need to run back and forward with bits in boxes to get some paint down.

Cheers,

Alistair

Oooooooo nice, looking good Alistair,  glad the showers stopped long enough to get the upper colours on.

Great job

Chris

Thanks Chris.

A little more was done.

Thanks Roger,

I wanted to try a slightly different way of doing it and am reasonably pleased with the result.

Thanks Simon,

I got the engines together and fitted.

Then figured a dry fit of the cowlings would be sensible.

I should manage to get them coloured in tomorrow and then once they are glued in place I'll get a clear coat down for some stickers.

Thanks for looking,

As the clear stuff was getting flung about this morning this one got the treatment too.

And then some stickers.

These will need a fair bit of softener to get the tail plane ones around the lumps and bumps.
