Well, the scale fits so here we go.

This is a fairly recent release. I figured how hard could it be? One main sprue, two small duplicate ones for the rims, a small PE fret, and four tyres...

Starting with the engine, I soon realized what I was up against.

Lots of small parts including PE ones. They're there for additional detail and not just because.

Fit is good, but occasionally a bit imprecise. Some of the locating pins are very small, more like bumps rather than a pin.

The frame is multipart so aligning things is key. Note the PE engine mount.

With the engine in place.

Next up was the other frame rail and the rad.

Then it was time for the floor. This is a PE piece. It was oddly curled a bit so i had to flatten it before gluing it in place.

Then it was time to add some pedals.

These go through the floor and attach to a pint underneath .

The front steering is posable if desired. All the linkages are separate parts to facilitate it.

You can see the linkages and steering arms along the lower edge of the frame.

I added the rear fenders and the storage box as well. Next came the wheels and tyres. The tyres are a bit loose but that will hopefully make them easier to get off when it comes time to paint everything.

More PE goodness for the front bumper and side fenders. The instructions show where to bend the PE to shape.

Last bits to add were the seat, steering wheel and the lights.

The steering wheel either had a break in it or a very small short shot. Either way, a quick dab of glue joined it together.

This was a fun 2 day build. It wasn't quite the simple project I thought it would be but it was still fun.

The only thing left now is figuring out how to paint it.

Actually Max I've been ignoring the bench for the last while, after figuring out the Sea Fury cowl. This was something I figured would be a quick build I could do without any surprises.
