exdraken
next tank from my side, actually an assault gun, that was used to train artillery units in Franco's dark post civil war Spain.... by the way, 6 out of 10 Spanish STUGs ended up in Syria, together with 17 Panzer IVs to fight Israel in 1967..... more info here: https://www.mve2gm.es/paises/españa-nacional/adquisicion-de-material-militar-extranjero/ one of them is or was on display in Cartagena city center museum arcades... were I saw it many years ago unaware of such details! Tamiya STUG III Ausführung G - frühe Version 1/48 metal tracksfrom Friul models (I got addicted to them already! ) RB models 75 mm gun FC modeltips decals (numbers actually.... not much more!) anyways: that is what I started with the build process in the fantastic PIII GB (Gallery) that ended yesterday: I do hope you like it! and together with its German expats: cheers, Werner 18

FrancisGL
Hi Werner, When I saw the Stug with the green color, I was surprised, but when I saw that it was in use by the Spanish Army, I already saw it logical ... I do not know if that tone is the most correct, the vintage vehicles that I have seen (in person), and the most current, have a more olive tone. Anyway, it's nice to see a Stug in such an original version, together with a PzIV. Cheers and TC Francis.👍

But were repainted in green, accoding to the decals 71044.. whatever code that is (the yellow is called out as primer 604...) I based it a bit on these photos, maybe it should be more olive drab as I tried to discuss already in the WIP http://aaaminiaturismo.es/?p=1938 http://agrupacion-artistica.es/miniaturismo-web/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/brc-1332x888-04-1024x682.jpg http://www.tifozi.net/f/Surviving_StuG_StuH.pdf
