sampanzer
I have quite a few models of the 109, but I have been afraid to get on with them.. I have only ever built and painted one aircraft in the last 15 years and that was a jet! So this is the push I need. Hopefully I will complete more than one, but this is my starter - picked up on ebay I think, or perhaps under a table at a show, and I am sure it is a rebox of the Eduard kit. Anyway, looking forward to this and to learn from some of you who have plenty of knowledge on the 109 and the building of such!!
Watto
I've just purchased my second Eduard kit and have to say that I'm very impressed by the quality of fit and amount of detail, not that I'm any kind of expert. I'm sure you'll enjoy building and painting it. I look forward to your future posts. Watto.

sampanzer
Made a start on Sunday - nice little reference booklet with the kit! And some plastic glued together!! Opened the hole in the seat for the seatbelt anchor point. And cleaned up the fuselage with a couple of struts added.. Col.
The reference booklet looks an interesting one going by what's shown in your photo
Watto
Nice touch, I’ve still to get started… got a project on the go, then I’ll be on it. 👍🏼
sampanzer
Update - similar progress to the other weekend edition E3 - managed to take some tips from Ray in build sequence in this one, mainly with the IP's and I drilled the pedals out! Still to finish the painting of the cockpit sidewalls and decals for the IP's. Just got to get over the fear of closing it all up! 😀

Watto
Making steady progress, one of my faults is that I tend to rush things and instead of being satisfied with half a dozen parts glued or painted, I push on and make silly mistakes. Looks good mate.. 👍🏼

Looks good mate.. 👍🏼 I am really out of my comfort zone with this, so I am taking my time a lot more than I usually do!! If this was a panzer 38(t) or any variant, I would have built it by now 😆😁
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Take your time, its more about enjoying the build than anything else. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions ? Dennis
