I'm another who missed these, they're really great examples of earlier machines in a later scheme as far as my knowledge goes. They'd be great modelling schemes decals allowing.

I just snagged an older IPMS sheet printed by Two Bobs for the 2012 Nats. It's got one of the Homestead F-4Ds on it and these pictures are perfect for reference material. Thanks Sven!

Thanks for posting such rare pics.

 

The last time I saw a 31st Wing F-4D was the MiG-killer NEAM has at Windsor Locks, CT.
