Chris Jephcott
Bill, Thank you very much for your kind words - I actually got two promotions within a week actually - but neither of them to Captain on the Dash. I'm going onto the Embraer in November (although I should still be able to attend Telford - it'll just be a Friday night drive up!!) and I got my 3rd stripe too. At last!! I'll miss the Dash in a strange way...! Chris
Danyel
Gorgeous looking aircraft and fantastic finish. Lovely livery too
perdu
Ah sorry Chris I misread the, post but glad you got the upgrade Its going to be odd seeing Dashes and thinking "Chris don't drive 'em no mo'" Best train the missus to recognise the Embraers now then If I don't see you in Brownhills/WWood next month I'll see you in Telford
Viking
Ooops, almost missed this! Fantastic model you have made there, quality workmanships like that really shows through. LOve it! Cheers John
Gimme Shelter
brilliant model - great choice of livery - nice and up-to-date. I think I flew on one of these hummers over to the Isle of Man a few years back
Turbofan
Thanks for the comments everyone. I wanted to model this aircraft as, like lots of you, I see them all the time flying into and out of MAN. Flybe must have hundreds of them! Angus Tura
Hello. I've got a couple of these and thought they would be a quick build for me before the nationals in a fortnight. They are a quick build but having done most of the build I find they are tail sitting. How did you deal with that, Ian? TIA Alan
Turbofan
Hi Alan, I had to drill some holes in the underside as far forward as I could and fill with lead weights and superglue. If I remember correctly it took quite a lot of weight! Hope this helps. Cheers, Ian
Angus Tura
Thanks Ian. That was a very quick answer! I've drilled three little holes already and filled them with lead shot and it's no better. I'm gonna need a bigger hole! Now I know it works, I'll start drilling. Alan
Graham Boak
Another trick that you can use is to mount it on a base, drill a couple of holes in the base under the nosewheels, then loop some/invisible thread/whatever around the axles and knot the threads underneath the base. I suppose if it was really determinedly tail-heavy you might have to nail down the base! Edited October 25, 2015 by Graham Boak
Metodi
Very nice and clean build.
