Different He-111

Recommended Posts

I have just got hold of an excellent old book on the He-111 and found some photos

of the aeroplane fitted with Daimler Benz DB 60 1U engines.

I have never seen this before.

It make for a very interesting looking machine.

Definitely an interesting one, it just doesn't look quite right with those cowls though. It's make a great model project if one could find some better photos or even decent drawings. Maybe not be too hard to adapt some Ju88 cowls?

Steve.

Wow, that IS different, and I instantly thought "Ju-88/He-111 cross". Thanks!
