Jessica
This one leapt off the hobby shop shelf this afternoon and followed me home. Here's a review. My conclusion? Throw out your Minicraft kits (but keep the decals).

Eric Mc
I have about three Minicraft ones to build. That's the problem - my stash is becoming obsolete before I get to build any of it. Edited November 2, 2013 by Eric Mc
garryrussell
Thanks Jess Good call on the plans...too often too much is made from plans not matching and always the assumption is that the plan is correct, which often is not the case Like you say, it looks like Dak and that's all that matters. If something is badly out and looks like it, then there is a case of finding a plan that looks like it and going on from there. This seems to be a real gem and being 1/144 means a lot can be made up. I'd be happy to knock it up OOB...apart from the odd aerial to two.
Paul J
Hm.. I have built one and found it to be rather nice. But I also think the windshield is a bit too shallow/narrow too. Also I noticed that the flap hinge lines are not complete. They seem to be missing on the outer wings outboard of the 'big rib' and the center section flaps are not depicted as two separate ones. But, its no big deal as these can easily be scribed in.
Jessica
It does have some flaws, and I'm sure that Jennings will be throwing his into the bin, but a little application of "some modelling skills required" will sort them out in far less time than it would take to correct the Minicraft kit so many people raved about when it was new. bzn20
I've already bought five for my bin in anticipation. Edited November 2, 2013 by bzn20
tinbanger
Roden has produced a good fitting model, but the only down side for most of their products is decal quality.
