    Managed to join some of the parts together today:-

    I used Tamiya XF-49 Khaki for the base coat and a top coat of Burnt Sienna acrylic dry brushed on.I am happy with the way it turned out as this is my first time painting wood grain.

    Roden has produced a good fitting model, but the only down side for most of their products is decal quality.
