  1. Hi All Firstly I would like to apologise for my lack of appearance on this GB, I suggested it and should be running it. But I have had a few things going on and up to now not put a lot of effort into it. This will change from today. I will at least start to get my B-25 on the move again and take a very good look at all the other builds going on at present. Due to waiting 2 ish years since I suggested this GB I have been doing a few commission jobs to make some pennies. One of which I have literally just finished. And as it was needed for next weekend I had no choice but to shelve the B-25 till it was completed. Now its done I can concentrate on the B-25 again. No B-25 pics but here is a pic of the Forgeworld Troggath Hag I have been doing (this is not a completed one as I have not photographed it yet) Thanks Simon
  2. Great work as always Tony That Matchbox kit box brings back many memories, I remember building that as a kid
  3. That is looking so very nice Tony, cracking work And thanks for putting a Hurricane pic in, can't ever go wrong with a Hurricane
  4. This GB is becoming the "How many B-25s can Tony do!" Not complaining as I always admire your speed and great finished kits. And this one I will be looking forward too seeing the final result. Simon
  5. Hello Beard Welcome to the GB, its never a bad thing to come out of your comfort zone occasionally! Cant go wrong with a nice RAF B-25, nice start too Simon
  6. Coming along very nicely Patrice. It does look like a very nice kit (shame I only really do 1/48) Simon
  7. Bit naff about the decals, hopefully they will come back to you real soon. I have to reorder all my stuff from BigH as they did not deliver it to the MK show. Fantastic work Paul, and that paint work look stunning
  8. Hi vppelt68, welcome to the GB Thats a nice little haul you have. The Airfix kit is popular, and seems to go together nicely. The livery option sounds cool, will look forward to seeing your progress. Simon
  9. Thanks for the info Tony, and for posting pics of 180sqn that I have not seen! The variant is an option that I am limited with. As I only have the B kit it only comes with the B exhaust limiting me to a Mk.l. Luckily a chap on here has the G kit which comes with the C/D exhausts and is letting me have them. Also my kit has all the clear parts so that is not an issue. So I am planning on doing a Mk.ll. The Italeri repop had the decals for W-EV but can't find anything so was going to mask codes and I have some serial numbers. I am thinking one of the -EV most likely S or Z But to put a damper on things I ordered a few bits from BigH to collect at MK show today and my order was not there so gotta order it all again. So got to wait for it now. Simon
  10. Cracking start, I nearly picked the Airfix kit up at the MK show today.
  11. Great work Paul, that filled turret hole looks fantastic.
  12. Beautiful finish Tony, so nice to see something a bit different.
  13. Welcome aboard, and great choice of scheme. lookig forward to seeing your progress Simon
  14. Could this be the one http://www.historyofwar.org/Pictures/pictures_mitchell_II_98_sqn2.html
  15. I have been amassing images and stuff on B-25s. Do you have any other info like Sqn or code letters? Can have a look through my pics
  16. Well not really got to much more done on this. I have ordered a few bits for it and a BM member is sending me the exhausts so hopefully I will be making a proper start this weekend. For now I have managed to get the interior painted green, but no details yet. Thanks Simon
  17. Shame about the decals Tony, still its looking very nice.
  18. This may be a silly question but I was looking at buying some Red Letter decals for my B-25. At BigH they have X48048 RAF WWll 48"x30"x6" bomber squadron code letters and numbers. Would this be the correct sheet?
  19. Thats a really nice scheme Tony, hopefully the decals will behave themselves
  20. Some very nice progress Paul And I love your colour scheme, will look forward to seeing more
