  1. Too many to mention but an early UK Z705 E (aircooled) and a 650 Bonnie would be at the top of my list, oh and a GT125.
  2. I whole heartedly agree (though I do get some enjoyment from reading the rants). Let's just wait until the kit is out it before we desteoy its reputation. Tom
  3. Crikey! I've had bikes that look less real than this. Very well done!
  4. That is a truly beautiful job. Well done. I'm almost tempted. Now, if I could find a nice Bonnie model.....
  5. That works really well. Would the paint marker be like a paint pen?
  6. Thanks for your help guys. I think It must be Protar / Italeri one as it was a totally unkown make (to me anyway). I shall have a dig around on Google to see what I can find. Once again thank you for all your replies. Tom
  7. No, but I think I still have a coy of that somwhere!
  8. I seem to remember buying a Norton Comando back in the early 80's. It must have been about 1/12 scale as I think the wheels were about 2 inches in diameter. I have no idea if this kit did exist or if I have dreamed it up, but I am sure that I partially built this model. Enough wobbling on, there doesn't seem to be much to this question does there. Well this is the main part. I am sure that all the fins on the barrels were seperate and had to be glued together. Does anyone remeber this kit? Can you tell me who made it and where i can get another now that I am not so easily distracted bike, beer and booze? Cheers folks. Tom

    Spray booth

Thanks for all the advice guys. Still not sure what to do. I will only be using acrylics so I don't anticipate too many problems with odour. Guess i wil just contemplate my navel for a while and see what happens. Tom

    Spray booth

Hi Folks, I have never used an airbrush before, but before I do I thought I would ask for some advice. What do you use as a spray booth? Has anybody got any experience of these: - Link to eay are they any good/worth the money? Or should i not bother/ make one from scratch. Cheers Tom
  12. Hi folks, I am quite new to this game and have recently ( this morning) got hold of a Matchbox 1/32 scale Spit from a local charity shop for only £4.50. "Cor blimey guvnor, thats cheap " I hear you all cry, however there is, as always, a catch. Someone has started said model and they have used what looks to me like polystyrene cement. "Still dont see the problem Tom" you all say. The problem is they appear to have put it on with a trowel, and not a small one either. So the question is How do I get rid of the excess glue and dismantle the parts so that i can start again and paint them before assembly? Is there an easy way? The parts in question are the engine, the seat, the instrument panel i.e. all the parts that you would much rather weren't done. Any suggestions are welcome and gratefully recieved. Cheers Tom.
