  1. There may not be a second. Although I was fond of the Macchi MB.326H which I trained on at RAAFSTT WAGGA and or an A4 skyhawk
  2. dont know about brave.. stupid more likely. there is a reason the professionals dont often do powered models lol
  3. looking good mate!!. I am so slow at this model build stuff
  4. Thanks mate, yes as this is my first scale model since I was 12 (im 45 now) I am finding it tough. the learning curve is sharp and a lot has changed in 30 years lol. a lot of firsts for me. first time using an airbrush. first time doing electronics. first time getting and using custom 3d resin parts. first time using multiple types of glues lol
  5. Yep.. I have new found respect for avionic techs. dual colour SMD's the size of pin heads and gigantor size arduino circuit board with titanic size resistors squishing into a tiny 1/48 plastic helicopter with chipolata sausage fingers is hard work. I won't even show you the scary spaghetti jungle wiring with well dodgy questionable soldering #seaking #westland #australiannavy
  6. Thanks guys. just hope it all comes together in the end. its my first scale model since I was 12 so there is a lot of nail biting and mistakes and then fixing the mistakes.
  7. Couple of minor updates. Had to move the fuel cap as it sits different to the UK sea kings. #australianseaking #mk50a
  8. seats are a pain. and they are slightly too big in the airfix kit
  9. hi @Cashman1 Brent Sorry I totally forgot. 909 is a difficult cab to get photos of the interior as when the sea kings were in service especially before mid 90's no one really took photos on the inside. and then 909 crashed in 1995 prior to LOTE if you're on FB send me a DM www.facebook.com/daniel.parsons.712/
  10. Love this. I think there is a sea venom in the FAA museum in Nowra
