  1. Thank you for sharing. i have a serious soft spot for all things Piston Provost. Closely followed by all things SOAF.😁
  2. Piston Provosts were never equipped with HVARs (a projectile used by US forces). As illustrated by the photos, they were armed with British RP 3s. Logical, considering the military and political support for Oman at the time was entirely British. D
  3. Might I suggest you look an Air Britain (ABpic) there are a number of good images including a pair of Provost’s, one of which is in a brown/ green camouflage. I’m not sure however, that the brown is anywhere near the shade of dark earth. There are a couple of airframes that have had their spinners painted with spirals in the Luftwaffe style in addition to the red and white spinner on the image you shared. HTH
  4. Cracking start Andy. Looks like I might have to make an investment. DMP
  5. Good work Andy. The Beast is nearly there😁
  6. I’m more of a ā€˜lurker’ on BM. I’m still happily collecting boxes but sod all time to stick anything together! Still trying to complete my post-covid RTF and get my category back! Good to see that you’ve got something to keep you busy and out of trouble nearer to home😁. Does that make you some sort of Bloon Consultant šŸ¤“šŸ¤“šŸ¤“šŸ¤“šŸ¤“šŸ§
  7. Hi Andy, Just found this. Didn’t know you were a ā€œplastic brasherā€ Whilst I view helicopters as aerodynamically, the work of black magic. Good save on the undercart.😁 Regards DMP
  8. More lovely work Daniel. The discolouration is very convincing. If you can free up the engines, then I believe that the exhaust petals should be almost in contact with the fuselage. A quick Google search should provide confirmation :-)
  9. Lovely work and very convincing.
  10. Even more superb work!
  11. Ohh...yes..the Hunter model! Lovely work sir. The underwing serials are, well and truly 'nailed'. To use a modern idiom. Safe journey.
  12. Lovely photo! " You could've used the bleeding door"!!!!! Aren't you supposed to knock before you enter? I notice the nose wheel and leg didn't make it inside!
  13. Looking good :-)
