thanks for the heads up on the Humbrol 85 i always though the 33 was very chalk board effect ill get some and give it a try

Its been awhile since ive been able to touch this one but i now have wings fitted and the rear wings fitted too no real fit issues but like most spitfires theres a bloody great hole that needs filling i best get sanding and filling.

Its very odd im having some fun with this one apart from when my air brush started spluttering but i got that sorted and kept beavering away like a champ and so far im happy with the results but i feel i could add more detail but what though lol. (i scratch built a air tank which dint look to bad i think) here are some before and after pics. Next part is to fit together and see what problems thats going to be ;/

This just wont do for details not that im a detail freak its just a bit empty.

Right im going to start this kit but i have a few questions first, from all the pics ive seen the spinner is white not the same colour as the underside (Humbrol 90 Beige Green), another question i have is the dark green (Humbrol 163) is this the right shade of green ?? same question for the Brown (Humbrol 29) id like to try Vallejo paints for this one so any advice and paint codes would be great. i would also like to know if anybody has built this kit and found issues with it like nothing fitting as it should. i know its alot of questions but i dont wont old tin legs to come haunt me for mucking up his spit bit of flash here and there but otherwise nice and clean can wait to get going on this.
