  1. Hello, Ordered the Sea Harrier/Skyhawk dogfight double set from an Amazon retailer, as it was not available anywhere else thought it could be an error, however had an email last night saying it had been shipped, (Could still be an error, curious to see what turns up!) P.S. same retailer says they have the Spitfire / bf 109 dogfight double in stock also Cheers 633
  2. When thw BBC were making "life on Mars" they found a 1970,s "curly wurly" wrapper which was about twice the size of a modern one. The chilhood memory reason is one that is rolled out regularly to explain this. Cheers 633
  3. hello, They have now changed from pre-order to add to basket on the Airfix website. I sent flying hours a couple of months ago for one of these do not know how long that will take, be next year i suppose 633
  4. Hello, Bearing in mind 2014 will soon be here what I would really like is 1/24 Sopwith Camel 1/24 SE 5a 1/24 Fokker DR1 1/24 Albatros I know people think large scale ww1 aircraft are a risky proposition, but you never know, what Airfix may have in mind for the 100 year anniversary.

  9. Hello, I have just had a look, and the ailerons look exactly the same as the unmade B1/111, I have. Cheers 633
  10. Hello, I ordered one from this shop yesterday morning, and received it first thing this morning, on opening the box, the first thing you notice this Lanc is moulded in Black plastic, rather than the grey of the B1/B111, (always a bonus when assembling a mostly black aircraft in my opinion). I can confirm the wheels and gun barrels are still the same, I think the wheels were moddelled on a late version, probably of a museum example examined by Revell, but there is no excuse for the gun barrels!. In regards to the wing dihederal there is no obvious change, but I have always thought that this may have been a result of Revell taking dimensions from a museum example that was totally empty, therefore would not have the same angle as a laden,or flying example. One more thing, the rather nice box art, shows G George flying over the Mohne dam with the power station on fire, and in the background another aircraft releasing its mine, G George shows the belly machine gun, but on reading the instructions there is no mention of this being included, however the gun and hatch are included on the sprue, I suppose seeing there is some uncertatnty which aircraft were fitted with this gun it is left to you wethrt you fit the gun or not. Cheers 633
