Alpha Delta 210 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Hi My old mould Airfix BBMF Hurricane is finished. I built this in parallel with the new mould Sea Hurricane IIc which was my entry for the Battle of the Atlantic GB. I am building a collection of BBMF aircraft, which this one will now join. The rest of the Flight is here and here. The kit goes together well and is only let down by the raised detail and the fit of the windscreen, but that could be put down to my ability I suppose! Here she is with the other BBMF Hurricane models. And finally a quartet of Hurricanes, including the other two BBMF models and the Sea Hurricane that I built in parallel.
daz greenwood Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Fantastic always nice seeing the Hurricane on these boards.
BasicModelling Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 You just can't have too many Hurricanes.. Great collection of some good looking models...
Alpha Delta 210 Posted February 15, 2011 Author Posted February 15, 2011 Thanks for the kind words fellas! I enjoyed making them all.
F-32 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Lovely - you can never have too many Hurricanes!
stevehnz Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Oooooh, inspirational! All of a sudden my stash of Hurricane kits goes from "What am I going to do with them all"? to "have I got enough"? Steve.
Alpha Delta 210 Posted February 17, 2011 Author Posted February 17, 2011 Thanks again for your kind comments. I never thought that the standard of my modelling would inspire anyone!! I look forward to seeing some of your Hurricanes, Steve!

I look forward to seeing some of your Hurricanes, Steve! Don't hold your breath, I tend to be a "long lead time " modeller with my stash being targeted for a time when I'm not so involved with the kids & their schooling etc, but they are growing older & there is a glimmer of light on the horizon, either that or its the approach of the apocalyse. Steve.
