T-Tango Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 Good luck with the build Pete, I love AFV Club stuff. This is the first AFV Club I've built Dave, so I'll see how it goes.
T-Tango Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 Here's the first pics, obligatory sprue shots. Pete von Dustytreadiebuilder
CPNGROATS Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Yo Dusty: That looks like a well detailed kit... Cheers, ggc
Guest snipersmudge Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 trust me you'll love the kit Pete, one thing about AFV club kits to watch is the plastic is slightly softer than say tamiya kit plastic so care cutting from the sprunes is called for Pete
T-Tango Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 Yo Dusty: That looks like a well detailed kit...Cheers, ggc Yes, the detail on the parts looks pretty good so far. Anyways the progress so far today, the top of the main body is only balanced on for effect. As you can see there is a nasty bow in the sprue of the body parts, but I think with a little persuasion with a big 'ammer it will fit ok. Pete von Bodypersuader

Dads203 Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Hi Pete, I'd recommend the Eduard PE set for this little babe, its a nice set and makes an already good kit into a really great kit. I've got the AFV Club Scimitar with the Eduard PE. Check out the PDF instructions on the Eduard web site. Dan
T-Tango Posted July 19, 2008 Author Posted July 19, 2008 (edited) Thanks guys, I will try and take some pics tomoz and post 'em. I have taken a look at the Eduard PE Dan, to be quite honest mate PE and me don't get on, there was more than enough with the 3 bits of PE in the kit. Pete von Reallydontlikepe.
