Bet it will be easier than the Modelsvit. Glorious multiplicity of parts makes them a challenge. Not sure from the sprue pics, whether the spine top chaff/flare dispenser of the 2000N is present but it is clearly provided for in the design of the spine just ahead of the fin. Here’s hopping.

The parts for the chaffs D are  in green , yellow for N or B

And all you need apart decals for a 2000D or  a 2000B, a good news:thumbsup:.

😏 The questions was what price?

So, the only difference between D and N models are decals? How about those chaffs?

They are in the kit yellow parts in the picture above.

Yeah, I see that, but I figured there are other differences as well. Different nose for sure and maybe different cockpit...

Here I can see the chaffs, cockpit, fin and nose are different:

And here only cockpit and chaffs

External différences between N and D from front to rear :

- nose

- instrument panels

- underbelly inlets

- Decoy launcher on the backbone

- top of the fin tail

According to the available pictures, some of these seem missing or mistreated in this new tools kit... And payloads are... well... I don't know what to say (except ASMP and its LM 770 of course which fit perfectly for N version) ! 🤔😬

I see 3 different tail fin tops and two different chaff launchers...

But only one nose. So nose is only thing missing to make D version.

Instrument panels are decals anyway.

And I am hoping for dual GBU payload for D version but it will probably be the same for all the Mirages.

The tail fin top allegedly provided for D version is totally wrong : there is LAM antenna for MICA but even with the on going upgrade allowing the MICA there is no such antenna and if it could fit for an export version, the positions of the both little antennas on the very top and of the nav light being good (this time) for D version, they should be inverted for export version. The nose is wrongly engraved and the underbelly Eclair M decoy launcher has never been operationally used... And the rear instrument panel fits for Mirage 2000B only, not for N or D.

There are actually four noses in the kit, two of which are for the single seat versions.  The instructions have an error in that they say to fit part C41.  This is too wide and will not fit.  I believe the correct use is as follows:

2000B/N  -  Part C65

2000C  -  Part C39

2000D  -  Part C40

2000-5  -  Part C41

Part B33 is the windscreen between the two cockpits and is incorrectly moulded opaque.  The kit provides a 3D printed part in a little box to replace this.

So, all the parts are already included and they will only change instructions and decals for other versions. They did the same with Panther/Dauphin helicopters...

Unfortunately, most of their kits have some (or more) major flaws.

Mentioned Panthers have "wrong" rear doors.

Their UH-1Y has wrong unguided rocket launchers because kit shares launchers with AH-1Z.

Mirages have wrong noses and tails :( Such a shame.

Guess I'll have to wait for Modelsvit.

I beieve the noses are correct for the D and N.  The other two noses in the kit will be used for the forthcoming C versions.  The fin tip for the N version is correct, but the D fin tip will need some work.  Maybe an enterprising resin AM manufacturer will provide a suitable item.
