dcroke77
This is the 1:72 Revell F-4J Phantom II build from earlier this year. The kit itself is old and poor fitting. Overall, it was primed in UMP Grey primer, Vallejo Model Air black to pre shade/mottle. Then Vallejo Model Air White and Gull Grey for base colours. Decals were applied with UMP Decal solutions. Weathering was performed with UMP washes. There is also a video build over on YouTube of this - Thanks for looking/watching. 33
Sky Keg
To get this poor fitting kit to this extremely high degree of excellence is a testament to your skills as an artist. Mike

binbrook87
What a lovely F-4 👍 I remember when this was released by Revell I wondered why it was so cheap compared to others....and then i found out why! Your hard work has really paid off on the old kit. It just shows with patience and a nice paint job what results can be achieved.
dcroke77
Thanks for all the kind comments. This kit was a real struggle! Bit of a mojo killer.....bloody box art sucked me in! Still though, makes me look forward to building the Italeri F-4C I have in the stash......

The Italeri kit is nice, I've built a couple so your mojo should bounce back
