  1. Light, thin coats all the way. Although, their more recent paints don't seem as hot as older ones. Been impressed with them lately.
  2. I went for Zero because they are 30 miles from me!!. Next day delivery and airbrush straight from bottle. The TS callouts should be fine as they do normally match the decal colours perfectly.
  3. Its only taken a week or two but here are the final pictures of the Tamiya 1:12 Suzuki GSX-RR in the 2021 scheme. Main body was primed in UMP Black primer. Base coat of Zero Paints Suzuki Blue and Silver (plus some X-18 for the 2021 scheme additions). Decals from the kit plus TB decals for the 2021 changes, using UMP decal solutions. Clear coat of Pro Range 2K. Flatted with micromesh and polished using UMP polishing system. Engine, frame, swingarm and forks painted using mixture of Tamiya LPs, Mr Hobby Super Metallics, Tamiya and Revell acyclics. Full video build series is on YouTube (playlist here -> https://youtube.com/playlist...) Part 1 Body, prep and paint: Part 2 Decals and 2K: Part 3 Engine and Frame: Part 4 Swingarm: Part 5 Exhaust, radiator and Forks: Part 6 Finale:
  4. Thanks for all the kind comments. This kit was a real struggle! Bit of a mojo killer.....bloody box art sucked me in! Still though, makes me look forward to building the Italeri F-4C I have in the stash......
  5. This is the 1:72 Revell F-4J Phantom II build from earlier this year. The kit itself is old and poor fitting. Overall, it was primed in UMP Grey primer, Vallejo Model Air black to pre shade/mottle. Then Vallejo Model Air White and Gull Grey for base colours. Decals were applied with UMP Decal solutions. Weathering was performed with UMP washes. There is also a video build over on YouTube of this - Thanks for looking/watching.
  6. Hi there, Only just found this thread as I have not been monitoring forums for a while. I have not received December issue onward. I have contacted MA. Last email from them was 9-Mar with promise of replacement December issue and approx dates for Jan, Feb and Mar. Sadly none of these arrived and my emails since remain un-answered. Dan
