Pin Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU03672 Blimey, I must have it!
pyro-manic Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Ooooooooooooooooooooh! Shame about the price, but that's par for the course with these "AMonster" kits. Still, I'd love one of these if I had the space. I have a thing for flying boats, especially big ones....
bzn20 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) In 2000 i got a contract with Lufthansa technic at Stuttgart.Nothing unusual there except walking past the terminal i looked up and there was a DoX lit up on the roof! It turned out to be a museum up there! Worth a visit BTW.The 1st job i got sent out to i biked out the Hangar and right out front was a JU52 iI was starting to wonder if I'd either become a time lord or an extra in Quantum Leap!I couldnt believe how small a Dox was either. Good contract tho' got to work on a lot of different airlines and new (to me any way)aircraft types. Edited December 15, 2012 by bzn20
Stashaholic Steve Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Just seen this old thread. Nice looking craft, very unusual - but an insane price tag so I think I'll pass.

Good contract tho' got to work on a lot of different airlines and new (to me any way)aircraft types. A Dornier is perfectly possible, a Do.X absolutely impossible (and not a small aircraft, by any standard)! Of the three built, the first was destroyed during WWII in a bombing of the Air Museum in Berlin, the other two were scrapped in Italy after a few years of attempts to find a use for them. Michele
Sgt.Squarehead Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Blimey! A-Model really don't believe a kit can be too big (or too expensive), do they? Suddenly my Huma Wal seems very inadequate!
