  3. Hi Andy, very nice, clean and smart build. I had a few problems while building this kit.
  4. Hi Tim, Waiting to see ur complete model. If u choose Jet Black i suggest go for red upholstery , glove box covers. Nice build soo far. Use cigratte foil for engine firewalls. Are u going to do any plumbing work on engine & radiators? Cheers Rishi

  6. Hi Obi, Thanks for the information, check ferrari group builds, pro modellers there . I will paste complete pics there in ferrari group builds. I kind of feel sad when a model gets finished. Looking for other interseting subjects. I kept the doors fixed as there where flush fit problems. Maybe one day i will make a master model. There are 4 gunze sangyo kits back home in India, Ferrari 250 gto 2nos, Ferrari 250 GtSWB & cobra daytona coupe. I wish Tamiya should release 250 gto kit there quality of casting is perfect.
  7. Hi, The nozzle I have this compressor. after 15 - 20 min of use there is lot of moisture/ water but when i replace the intake filter its very less. this does not help for long. any suggestions as my badger airbrush plunger needle o-ring gets expanded with moisture.
  8. Hi, I got this airbrush while on vacation in India. Price Indian rupees 1300.00. works very well even with my diaphragm piston compressor. Unfortunately there is no manufacturer address on box instruction sheets. Nozzle: brass I.D. 0.3mm Cup: 12ml. Medium: Paint need to be thin as Alcad II chrome consistency. Nice for weathering, Detail work, small parts, fine lines.
  9. The Body shell is fitted with all accessories. I wish it would be nice that Revell put PE headlight bezels rather than silver decals.
  10. Hi, I use this light curing putty. Its the only model putty i find here. Plus the commerical nc putty cost is high and gets wasted in mixing with hardner. Light curing putty - sunlight hard within 5 min. with a high lumes bulb hard in 15-20 min.
  11. Hi, The Monte Carlo blue is 1964 Shelby GT350R and AMT 1968 Shelby GT500 finished in Twilight Blue. These a base coat metallic colors i had from my friend works at body repair & paint shop.
  12. Hi, This kit was first plastic kit i brought in 1999. I brought it really expensive since these were imported to India. Dismantle and rebuild 2 times a snap kit. There a fish eyes on paint. The seat & dashboard brown was mixed per instructions from my Father- made from paint available . He dyes cotton & art silk- very good at making new shades.
  13. Master model. Truly painstaking built. The water hose looks real. Cheers.
  14. Thanks Doug, ur T35/84 tank is master model. Ur appreciation is motivation.
  15. I started this 1st of june. Nice kit, the chassis need a lot of flash cleaning, door gaps have to minimized. There was lint stuck to body after plastic primer coat and i tried sanding a small area. Dont ever sand plastic primer, its like glue. Used Tamiya acyrlic colors - mixed red, yellow and brown. 2 k clear coat. mistake here a acyrlic color gave some fine cracking at bonnet. dont use 2k clear on model paints. The engine supplied with kit is very good. I did the wiring and ignition tube using Replicas & miniatures co kit instruction guide. The eyebolts on side of distrubutors need to be reloacted as touch firewall one assembled on chassis. The interior tub assembled, check assembly of engine side fire walls. its better to glue the after the dashboard goes into place. otherwise front shock absorbers wont fit correct. i had cut open and again fix. Hope to complete with no more problems. but its all learning so i keep my mind cool
  16. Hi Andy, Very well done and finished model. even i had problems like cracking/ impression while masking. Its mostly the paint is not cured or paint coats applied over short period. I mean one coat maybe still not cured. my advice put a clear coat, allow to cure use fine sanding 1200-1500. go for next color again use fine sanding - go one more clear coat or 2 as u wish. U will also find hard edges by masking eliminated. I will post my first tamiya bike built in few days, i wrecked one main decal. cheers, rishi
