  1. Hi Paolo, Very well done, great job on the build and weathering. Proofs that these old kits still can bet turned into a very nice model. Nico.
  2. Hi all, I finished building the Kubelwagen and it's ready for painting. The PE parts are primed with a metal primer to be sure the paint will hold. The plan is to prime the model with Mr. Surfacer 1500-Grey and give it a "red primer" color afterwards. I liked building this kit, but didn't use all of the PE in the VM set. Cheers, Nico.
  3. Already start's to look like a freighter, great job. The use of staples is a very good idea! Curious how they look when they are painted. Cheers, Nico.
  4. Fully agree, its much more in scale imho. Great job!
  5. Great idea using the A-Wing stand! Nico
  6. Great build and paint job. Love those Bandai kit's. Nico
  7. Great build and paint job, very nice model. I loved that tv show. Nico.
  8. Beautiful model! The build, paint and weathering is perfect. Great craftmanship. Nico.
  9. Very nice model. Great paint job, love the defaded look. The windows stand out giving a good look in the interior, great work. Nico.
  10. Great paint and weathering job on such a tiny model. I like the metal finish! Nico.
  11. Hi @rayprit Thanks for your waring and advise! Nico.
  12. Thank you, that is a good idea! I used a brush with stiff bristles but still is to soft. Nico.
  13. Hi Chris, Thank you for advice. I'l definitely give that a try. Have a nice day, Nico.
  14. Hi all, This is my progress of the last week. I bought a set of tweezers to replace the one i used from a first aid kit. That really makes a world of difference when working with PE. The Tamiya kit is very nice detailed and has a good fit. Very fun to build it. I switched to black-CA to better see the excess of glue on the model. Still trying to figure out why in one situation the debonder removes the CA without problems and in an other situation it doesn't. Working with PE is harder as i thought, especially the assembly of brackets... 👀 Found a video on youtube where double sided tape is used to keep the parts in place. I'l give that a try... I found PE also has the ability to disappear before your eye's into some kind of void or blackhole. Feels like working with quantum mechanics. As i didn't manage to construct a clamp until now i replaced the clamp that holds the shuffle with a resin clamp. I was pleased with the result but felt like cheating 🙊 Have a nice day, Nico
