  1. Master piece !!! Thanks for sharing, the build, the paints, the weathering, and finally the lighting are all great. I love it so much and it is definitely inspiring ! Ernest
  2. Take care mate and thanks for sharing the very nice built and paint scope dog. I love the pre-share and the weathering especially. It is very nice color choice / mix. I have this one - day back in 80s !!! and I still keep it in box - I need to build it one day ! mine is the Brutish Dog. Stay well and share more great work !
  3. ha ha, this is a good one !!! First time ever to light up the scale model kits. I used to add lights to my remote control F1 cars and run on track, it was fun too. Thanks for kind words ! Bandai's SW kits are really great (I am two kits old into SW), I will try Finemolds SW in future Thanks a lot for appreciation !
  4. Thanks for the appreciation ! Indeed, I tried to fit 1/72 A-Wing on it, but feel like mismatch (just me ....), and since I am painting these two tiny Tie and Tie X1, I really think they match the scale better ... Thanks for kind words !
  5. Did a few rounds of washing, and applied Tamiya X-11 and XF-1 with foam, thin spraying a layer of smoke around engine exhaust and gear bays. Sealed with matte clear Project is completed. You can find the final outcome here, thanks for reading.
  6. Hi all, it has been a productive weekend, spent half a day on the spray booth and completed some final steps of two Starwars projects. Here is one of them, the A-Wing. You can find the WIP info here Here are the final outcome, hope you like it.
  7. I have completed the tiny X1 from the box set a while ago And here is the other half from the box set, the Tie Fighter Borrowed the cannon tower from the Bandai 1/72 A-Wing kit, and prepare a little bundle for Tie Fighter I know, they are in different scale, but hey, it is SF, so who really care Most importantly is having fun. The kit is easy to build, but require a bit effort on masking if you wanna to spray some colors. It works the effort tho.
  8. Thanks Anders For sharing Excellent build and paint job well done . I like the wooden effect especially !!
  9. Thanks for sharing Marco it is really nice tiny build and seems it is a quick work too, following to see the end result 😃 I want to buy one already ….
  10. Thanks for kind words ! I don’t even correlate it until u say so !! And yes both starwars and f-14/f-16 are in the 50 years old range !! thanks for encouragement
  11. Great paint work !!! A lot of planning and patience it looks great even before finishing
  12. Thanks mate for the encouragement ! Ernest
  13. Weather stage 1 - washing two passes of wash, both with 502. first pass is mixture of black and grey, 2nd pass is fading white
  14. The kit provides two types of canopy - I pick up the canopy which requires a little masking job, instead of the version which has an extra frame to be installed on the transparent part. There are 4 gates on this little canopy, one in front and one in back are relatively easy to clean up. The two gates on both sides actually turn into a white mark after I did 2nd cut. So patiently sand the gates from #400 sanding foam till #10,000, and then polish with polishing compounds. Result as follow. Not perfect but should be good enough as the lowest part would be covered once installed on the fuselage. Decals done. Also prepared the rest of parts - landing gear, gear doors, exhaust ports, weapon .... And then could not wait further to complete the basic build. Let the paints dry for couple of days before washing / weathering.
