Well done Ced, great news!

Good result. Sometimes it's best to leave the bench and hit the vino! That said your perseverance has paid off!

Nice progress. I agree that the Airfix Tornado really needs a re-tool.

Just got some time to catch. Now I'm confused need to lay down....

A pair of Airfix Hawks in 1/72. Finished.

The sense of satisfaction surely makes it worthwhile..... Looks great and the nickle tubing will really make it stand out.... -
Late to the party again! Though this time no sign of any sprue cutting so I've not missed anything exciting. I'm getting slightly concerned that Ced is secretly planning to invade a small country with an army of 1/72 figures, he's always moulding more! As I live in the nearest 'small' country I'm going to guard the bridge with a large quantity of TET!

Bang seats look good enough to.....er....sit on! I understand completely when you get bored of a task that becomes tedious. Credit is due though for avoiding the 'that'll do' corner cutting gremlins that are always in residence on my bench... Looking forward to those nose legs, off to a great start. -

That is truly excellent work. Lots of inspiration in there! Ooo a lathe I must have one, I don't know why but I must!! -
Wow Ced, quicker than a rat up a drainpipe!! I do like that scheme very nice....

Sounds like me on holiday... or is it the other way around?? Where there's an itch, you just have to scratch!

...I think you mean 'butt' or 'butty'. A valley's colloquialism for friend. It's a saying a originates from the mines. The guy who placed the butts to support the roof of the mine was a popular guy! 😊

As they say this side of the bridge... "That's proper tidy....like!"

I guess I'm wicked then! Great job on the rigging, she's looking very good..
-
Wow.... My mind is boggled just reading your plan brought me out in a cold sweat....(My colleagues are looking at me nervously....). As Giorgio says the rigging really makes a difference. Whilst you may, and probably will, go mad in the process at least it'll be worthwhile... Oh, I used the CA applicator kit last night - how did I live without it!! Fantastic recommendation..Cheers!

As they've said... Those seat are looking very good... -
+1. The chipping around the cowlings and anti glare panels is excellent, I'm just not convinced on the fins....
