  1. Beautiful! Wouldnt matter if youd mucked up every bit of it and then sat on it, that camo just looks superb.
  2. Oooh, shiny! Very nice indeed, definately looks the buisness.
  3. Scary it may have been, but youve pulled it off damn well mate. Do you know of any way to get glue fogging off clear bits?
  4. Welcome back! Im in much the same position as yourself and trust me, youve got a lot of fun ahead... rediscovering the joys of building a model is a fantastic feeling. If i might be so bold, i can reccomend this PDF file (i hope Larry doesnt mind...), it really is helpful and definately makes things a lot easier! Good luck, and happy modelling! If you get stumped, you can trust everyone here to give you helpful (albeit occasionally bewildering) advice in a very friendly manner.
  5. English is difficult, German is just awkward...
  6. Trying my German out... 'Not once can a spitfire in north or south... something... them'? I personally call them Bf 109's, cause that just sounds better.
  7. Ok, that all makes sense (even after a large meal, worryingly... maybe i didnt eat enough). Looks like ill just need to break out the imagination a bit... or just make one up, actually, that could be fun.
  8. As a Badger i reserve the right to badger. I also resere the right to say that that looks absolutely stunning (not least the cockpit), and Revell really didnt put enough thought into those wheels. Do not let a fly land on your Eurofighter! Looking forward to seeing the engine now
  9. Ok, heres the deal: ive spent the last hour trawling all over the interweb looking for pictures of Bf 109 camo schemes, and i found loads and loads. Annoyingly and somewhat bewilderingly though, they all just seem to show the left hand side of the fuselage, and nothing else. Does anyone know of a website that shows Bf 109 paint schemes in a slightly more complete way? EDIT: Err.. sorry.. probably should have put this in resources.
  10. That looks... scarily authentic. You could start a whole conspiracy theory with just those pictures. Go on, you know you want to...
  11. Ok, what is it with you starting another kit just when youre about to finish a great one? Gah! Do the Eurofighter! Then get on with putting this together without breaking or losing any of it, or slopping paint all over the place by accident! Hrmph! Im off to go and mutter in the corner.
  12. What do you use for wash, silverfreeze? Im looking for a decent one, but if im honest i have absolutely no idea what to look for...
  13. Shiney? You could use it for shaving!
  14. Very well done, it looks properly buisnesslike. What colour did you use under the wings?
  15. Very nice, ive never seen (or heard of) one of these before... whats that wrapped around the nose? (is it still a nose on a missile?)... it looks a bit like a rubber band, but i cant tell.
