  1. Hey all, I recently posted about my Badger 200NH causing me grief and was looking at the Badger 350 as a possible replacement. Just curious if anyone has a Paasche H airbrush and what they think of it. I've just been doing some homework to see what might be a nice single action a/b replacement. Any opinions on this setup? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Paasche-1-5-HP-Airbrush-Compressor-w-H-Single-Action-Airbrush/282971434647?_trkparms=aid%3D1110002%26algo%3DSPLICE.SOI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200116171858%26meid%3Dd4af5c1fcf54465e98b0c8fc34bd9801%26pid%3D100008%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D282997562660%26itm%3D282971434647%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DPromotedSellersOtherItemsV2%26brand%3DPaasche&_trksid=p2047675.c100008.m2219
  2. Damn dude, this is dead sexy. What a build. beauty-ess-ness! One of my favorite planes. Just looks cool.
  3. Thanks for the accolades guys, I really appreciate it. Considering I'm not too happy about the way it came out. Like I mentioned in the post up top, it was a PITA to get together. At the very least, I know I can do decals on weapons now. Never attempted that before. Lord, I had a WIP in progress at one point but Photo-#$%^-it decided to start charging for the site and what I had up there I lost. As far as the issues....where to start. Fuselage halves going together aren't to bad, after that it's all downhill. The wings left huge gaps where they mate with fuselage; where the front of the wings meet at the fuselage/intakes is all messed up; the (tabs?) in between the flaps don't line up at all (does that make any sense?) If you look at the pic looking down from behind, just behind and under the rear of the Sidewinders you'll see this small tab in between the flaps I'm referring too. I had to reshape and build up each one so they didn't look to wonky. I used a Neo-Omega resin pit so as far as the kit one, I don't know. I used Scale Aircraft Conversions metal landing gear and those weren't too bad. I put one of the kit pieces together to make sure I could get them to work right as the kit instructions are kind of vague. Needed to this due to the fact that each leg is composed of 6 pieces. The canopy has no real mounting point so you might want to fashion something for that. The weapons weren't to bad. And re-scribing the whole kit...SUX!! So, in a really big nutshell, that's the deal with the kit. Biggest thing I can say, which can never be stated enough with a model...test fit the snot out every part on this kit Hopes this helps a bit. Good luck and have a tone of patience with this one D
  4. Woof....very nice. Love the Stuka. The camo is pretty slick. Bet that took some time to apply. Thanks for the share.
  5. Hey all, just thought I'd share the cockpit to my Italeri Tornado. It's the Neo-Omega resin pit fitted for the 'Nado. I don't really have any work-in-progress pix..didn't bother to take any. The build is more or less done. Just need to finish up the weapons and attach the canopy and then I can call her done. So that's it for now. Thanks for the look.
  6. Hay all, It's been a long time coming since this build has been on the back burner for quite some time. As anyone that's built this kit knows, there is a LOT of issues with it. Needed a complete re-scribe, lots of filling of gaps, misalignment of parts...not fun. This kit caused me problems every step of the way...from the pitot tube on back. The only things that didn't fight me were the SAC metal landing gear and the Neo-Omega resin cockpit. I also was able to add someMikes resin Intakes, Paragon flaps, resin engines, and flaps thanks to some very kind members from this site. No detail pix as I am not happy with how it looks close up. Anyway here it is. Enjoy. Hope the pix show up. If not let me know. Thanks for the look.
  7. To answer both questions about my 200....it's been acting wonky for me the last couple of sessions on my Jaguar and Tonka. I thought maybe it was the Teflon needle bearing or the needle itself. I've examined the needle and the other components and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary It may be that the bearing needs replacing. My first thought was the white paint I was using (less than optimal insignia white). But it may be the current Badger Propel can I'm using. I'll know if that's the case on my next can. I'll keep troubling-shooting to see what I can see. If the airbrush still acts stupid after the next can I'll replace that needle bearing. I'm going down the list of possible issues to fix the issue. Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it.
  8. Hey all, Just looking for some input about the Badger 350 airbrush. I've go a Badger 200 NH right now and I really like it, though it's been causing me some grief as of late. I've been thinking about getting a new a/b and was wondering what your take on the 350 is. I like how easy it is to use the 200 and how easy it is to clean it. I've watched some vids on the breakdown and use of the 350 and it seems as straight forward as the 200. Does anyone here use the 350? Any input would be great. I'm not ready to get a dual-action yet...not until I get a compressor anyway. I use Badger Propel cans for the time being....yeah, I know, I'm spending more in the long run by not getting a compressor. It's on my shopping list...maybe this summer. Thanks for reading.
  9. Riveting it is then. Thanks. You mentioned that you'll be doing the same to yours. What scale? I'm curious to see how you progress through your build. Here's a good question..I've been hunting for Eduard's BIG ED set #4932 and everywhere I go either no one has it and/or it's been discontinued by Eduard. What's up with that? Have these photo-etch sets really been discontinued? I've even been toying with the idea of getting the BIG ED set #4927 for the J variant for some of the photo-etch and masks. What do you think? Any ideas? I'm scratch-building some of the cockpit parts but the photo-etch would come in handy for some of the details. Thanks for the read. 🤘🤘
  10. I think I figured it out. That needle bearing is inside the body of the airbrush not inside the nozzle itself. I was watching some vids on Youtube and I saw what I was looking for. As far as the spattering of the white paint...by the process of elimination, it points to the paint causing me the issues. I'll know for sure later when I a/b the cockpit sills of my Tonka. If it's not then it's back to trouble shooting. Worst case scenario, I just buy an new airbrush. Badger sells some nice single action ones with multiple heads for more detail painting. I feel like a noob for not being able to figure this out this issue.🥴 Thanks again for the bop on the head.
  11. Wow...I'm a complete jackass. I went a looked...D'OH!! I'm watching a couple vids with the a/b to see what I can see about this needle bearing. Thanks for slapping the stupid out of me denstore! I'm a dumbass!
  12. The side of the body on mine is a sky blue and is labeled as a Paasche 200NH....so says the manual as well. This is what I've got but it's labeled as a Paasche 200NH. What's going on here? Should I be shopping for the part for the Badger or Paasche? I've googled this a/b and it seems to come up on Google as Paasche. Could you set me straight on this...as I don't want to order the wrong part.
  13. Hey all, This diagram points out part number 50-046 which is called a needle bearing on this 200NH. I don't ever remembering seeing this part in my airbrush. It's entirely possible I lost it when I first started cleaning it at some point. Recently my airbrush started spitting Insignia White while I was painting. Does anyone have this a/b? Is this part in the a/b? Could this be what's causing my issues? It just started this while doing the white. I free hand airbrushed a 1/48 Tonka just before the Jaguar I'm working and didn't have any issues. Checked the needle-not bent, tip is good. My air source is good. No other obvious issues with the a/b that I can find. I've been using this a/b for almost about 9 years now and have never noticed the needle bearing or had any issues with painting. Any input on this would be much appreciated Thanks.
  14. Nice! Great pix! Definitely very helpful in what I'm planning on doing. Thanks! Thanks for all the info guys...very helpful in all aspects of the interior I'll be working on. Great stuff.
  15. The glossy finish is perfect for the decals I'll be applying...and there are many decals to attach. Thanks dude, appreciate it.
