Well Dennis, If you chewed your way through the types you mention, cutting about 6 stips of tape is a walk in the park 😉

Indeed, didn't noticed the gear door being behind the 2 bombs in the middle. Thanks for the clarification!

In this picture^ it looks like there should be 5 paveways, since there are 3 visible on wing pylons and one at the center pylon. To me it looks like there should be a fifth behind the aircraft's left fueltank. on the other hand, do they buddy laser or do they mount the targeting pod on the aft wing pylon?

Have these molds ever been passed on to another brand after the demise of HRmodels? -
Ow indeed left underside. I typed from my memory but forgot that the bottom drawing was prop pointing down 😊

A bit of a follow-up question about 92 Sqn. I have the AZ kit of the Mk.I with canons, and the markings show 92 Sqn aircraft with sky bottoms but with a black right wing. How accurate is this? Any insights on this? Thanks!

I do hope AH releases some of the P-51B options which are included in Eduard's 1/48 releases. Of which the blue nosed "Dallas Darling" is the highest ranking one if you ask me!

Couldn't these be some alternate parts for the left forward missile bay to make an EF-4C (Wild Weasel 3) with the center part and maybe a sort of adapter for pave spike or knive pods?

***complete*** Syrian Spitfire Mk F 22
128fiddler replied to ModelingEdmontonian's topic in I feel deserted GB
To intrude on the camo colours question. 😉 I have a few decal sheets (Freightdog, Model Alliance) with allong the subjects post war RAF operated Spitfire Mk.18s in Egypt. They had the combination of Dark Earth/Slate Grey. It might be the colour on the meteors too, as the green looks very dark. Could be that they used Middle Stone with Slate Grey... as I guess the contrast with dark earth wouldn't be so big... however, I'm far from an expert...- 60 replies

Ooh, I was hoping for a 330 Tiger paint... 😄 however that Souda option is very tempting too

Indeed, that looks rather awkward... It's allmost the camo used by MC-130Es in the 1990s. What did you use afterwards?

I'd like to revive this thread with the question if someone has tried where the MRP 108 Dark Earth situates itself compared to the book color chips. my question comes from trying an unused Xtracolor X2 and X1 on a piece of paper, both being hidiously dark to my eye. On top of that, the wind pulled my paper up, knocking the full jar of DE empty... I now have to resupply myself with better options. Paints from the UK seem to be more and more difficult to come by which rules the colourcotes out. Therefor I would love to look out for ranges available here in Europe/BE. So I recently bought a few bottles of MRP after reading lots of positive things. So has anyone used them for Dark Earth/Dark Green camo? Then, on a sidenote, their color examples used to visualize their paints online makes it look like if their 145 dark earth/field drab FS30118 is very close too and to my eye maybe even closer. I must say I'm a total rookie on this matter and have no referrnce to use except some pictures from warbirds like the Peter Vacher Hurri. So is there anyone who can shed a light on this matter? Own experience or anything? Thanks in advance!
