Alex2410 Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Hi, that's me again & heres my second "movie kit" There were some additional works (as with De Lorean), but my english is not so good for posting them))) If you know Tamiya Jeep Wrangler kit in stock it would be very easy to find out the main additions)) Some photos at the same sandbox (a year later the BTTF-3 photosession)
Alex2410 Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 Thank you for your comments)) I can give a link to the WIP theme of this kit (if it's interesting for anybody) p.s. wip is in russian, but everything is clear in pictures
Noel Smith Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 A really good model Alex. I have been looking at making one of these myself. Where did you get the JP decals? I have not seen a Jurassic Park version of this Jeep by Tamiya, only a straight road version. Were the decals downloaded from the internet, or can they be bought?
Alex2410 Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 Where did you get the JP decals? I had to draw & print decals by myself. I can't find how to attach files here, but I can send you them by e-mail. (coreldraw x3 file)
Will Vale Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Brilliant work. I'd be really interested in seeing the WIP too. I started converting a 1/35 MUTT to be some kind of JP Wrangler stand-in but didn't get very far...
Alex2410 Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 I'd be really interested in seeing the WIP too. Here's my WIP http://www.scalecustoms.ru/forum/viewtopic...f=13&t=3691 I hope it wiold be usefull & interesting
Will Vale Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Thanks Alex, it really was. Great combination of reference and construction detail. It also makes the Jeep even more impressive seeing how much work you put into it. It does beg one question: will you be building the big Lindberg T-Rex to go with it?
Alex2410 Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 It does beg one question: will you be building the big Lindberg T-Rex to go with it? Ha ha! Well, I think it would be too LARGE (50 cm long) for my flat )))
