Built over the course of this weekend using the very old Lincoln International kit that is approximately 1:41 scale and according to the box was "Made in the British Empire". I scratch built a cockpit interior and added some small details and tail rigging, but the bulk of the kit is out of the box. Paint is Halfords Nissan Silver with the red areas masked and brush painted with Humbrol enamel. The G-A code decals are by Aeroclub.

Well Darius, that looks really, really nice, I used to live very near Croydon Aerodrome where this little plane along with a few Tiger Moths used to fly from before the powers to be closed it, I always liked the look of this plane and your rendition shows it off to perfection, very well done. That's really nice mate, it's good to see one of these old kits built too. If you listen carefully you can hear the faint sobs of a collector who thinks that this should have remained un-built and carefully stored away in its box!

Great build and finish. The aircraft was built in 1952 and spent time in Kenya and Pakistan before coming to the UK in the 1960s (1961 IIRC).

Currently operating under an exemption certificate as seen here: 5971081879_9992b4b22e_z.jpg

Hmmm. Nice. I've got one that was built years ago and currently is dismantled for a re work. Would like to know what was done inside and views thereof.
