Hello everyone … I’m building a Danish A.F. operated F-86D. I am curious to know if any ever wore camouflage ? Ive seen artists rendering and profiles in the single tone green as used by the F-100’s, F-104’s, and Saab Draken’s. So far Ive never seen any photo’s of any in camouflage scheme's. I would hazard a guess that they never wore anything other than a silver or aluminum finish during their active service ? If they did wear camouflage that would be interesting and worth looking into as a scheme ? Any help is gratefully appreciated in advance.

Operationally no, but I believe one used as a gate guard on a plinth was painted overall green.

Danish F-86Ds served for many years after service as decoys: many of these were painted overall green, but not during their service years.

Thank you Selwyn and Sabrejet.  I suspected as much but couldn't find confirmation anywhere so thought it best to ask.

I have two photos of Danish F-86Ds in a green camouflage color.  I found them several years ago, but now they don't seem to be found anymore.  Both are copyrighted.  Aircraft F-984 was shot by Nils Mosberg, and F-994 was captured by aviationphotocompany.com.  You may be able to use these as search terms to find the photos.
