VMA131Marine
Nothing like being late to the party! The Trumpeter 1/32 Bf 109E series was poor in terms of accuracy, well below the Dragon, Eduard, and even Matchbox kits of that subject. Hopefully HobbyBoss has revisited their research so that this new kit is more accurate. As for the Fw 190s, I’m not getting rid of my Eduard kits (new or old tool) to buy these. Then there’s the F-35s; the only one that interests me is the F-35C because I don’t see the A and B being superior in detail or accuracy to the Tamiya kits, which I have already. However, the 1/72 Avengers and 1/48 B-24 interest me.
WillDeeks
Might be an optical illusion, but the spinners on those 109Es look very pointy.

E-7’s had a pointed nose cap. https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Bf-109E/JG5/pages/Messerschmitt-Bf-109E7-4.JG5-Stkz-CK+CT-WNr-3579-later-with-JG7-01.html https://www.asisbiz.com/il2/Bf-109E/JG26-MTO/pages/Messerschmitt-Bf-109E7-7.JG26-ebay-01.html There was both a pointed and blunt cap on models. ↕️ https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Messerschmitt_Bf_109_E-7.jpg

They look like very detailed kits (just checked the plans), complete with optional folding wings. But are they accurate? I have two 1/72 Hobby 2000 (Hasegawa) Avengers, but I'd like something more detailed for my next Avenger kit. Also, are those 1/72 Devastators just before the Avengers? The 1/48 Devastator was released only last year.

Yes they are, they were announced at the same time as the 1/48 version. I'm hoping that they actually release them this year, and that they don't become one of those projects that are in the catalogue year after year. There's no 1/72 Devastator available, Airfix kit is ancient, short run kits from Valom and Admiral are quite awful, and none of them are easy to get.
