Kitty Hawk 1/48 kits ?

Hello all,

Looking for some Kitty Hawk, 1/48, kits, they are hard to find or out of production.

Does anybody know what happened to KH kits or are they being injected under another Brand ?

There's a BIG red banner at the top of the Site's Help & Support forum that says it's not for modelling issues.  You must have missed it

 

Kittyhawk shuttered their business a couple of years ago, and sold off most of their stock.  Their back-catalogue will only get more scarce as time goes by unless someone restarts the company or they sell the moulds to retrieve their initial investment.  Whether any of those possibilities will ever come to pass though, you might as well roll a dice.  If you're desperate for their kits, you'll have to pay the going rate, or find an alternative.

In early 2022 there were suggestions that Trumpeter had acquired rights to Kitty Hawk and would at some undisclosed time release at least some of the range although the information was short on specifics and as far as I can see nothing more has ever come of it.
