roadrunner
Hello, I'm looking for documentation about the Mig25M (Mig-25RB modified with R15BF2-300 engines) n ° 020601, that of the altitude record flights of 1977 I have already read the RedStar and the Aerofax ... -In RedStar, Yefim Grodon gives it as "601 blue", and the Aerofax profiles show the code in red... -What do the nozzles of its new engine look like? -Are there pictures of this record machine somewhere? thanks in advanve S.

I find this drawing in Yefim Gordon books. a photo of the R15BF2-300 jet exhaust here: https://abpic.co.uk/pictures/view/1586629 But that's all.... Strange for a record plane, no?
Doom3r
I am afraid there is not going to be a lot of info on this bird. If I am understanding it right it was broken down and it's wing was used for Ye-155M prototype which was based on MiG-25P http://www.airwar.ru/enc/xplane/e155m.html . Since both used same engine and 710 is still alive you might get your answer for the engines from the walkarounds of 710. exdraken
I guess you have seen this on here by now: https://russianplanes.net/id71689 this could be the correct engine // nozzle arrangement!
roadrunner
Tanks exdraken I think jet exhaust modification is not reasonable (I hate scratch roundel part!)... So I could build the 57 blue at Cairo in 1974 with grey over-painted red star.

Yes an interesting and historically significant Foxbat! Begemot has decals for it by the way! I myself did an earlier one that was even in Egyptian markings!
