Blimpyboy
Hiya all, I am modelling a 1/48 Bf 110 night fighter (G9+XR), which was apparently used to drop flares to illuminate enemy aircraft. Does anyone have any information regarding the types of flares dropped by the Luftwaffe for the purposes of illuminating enemy bomber aircraft - including where they would be carried (centreline, wings, etc.)? Thanks in advance for any help
Blimpyboy
No thoughts? Has COVID-19 claimed all the Luftwaffe modellers?
Graham Boak
You might get a better response on 12 O'clock High or Luftwaffe Research Group - not sure of the correct name of the latter site.
dov
I do not know. Just to assume, maybe it was an experiment. According to Wilde Sau. Happy modelling

dov
Sounds interesting! Does anybody have information about the operational use? For lighting the enemy a/c? Or emergency equipment when looking for landing ground or signaling? Happy modelling
