Your very kind Gene.

Soldering takes a bit of practice and patience. Not to hot and not too cold. Hotter is not always better.

 

Too bad Finemolds did not include a ladder in the kit since the basic design has not changed much over the years.

 

 

I keep mine set there and don't touch it.

As an alternative, recently I ran into a 3D printed set by LP Models.

Thanks, looks great, but out of stock and hard to find elsewhere. Was available on Hannants a couple of days ago, but I hesitated ... and lost out since now out of stock.
