dentz Posted April 20, 2016 Author Share Posted April 20, 2016 Thanks. It's the Revell 1/48 'Big Beautiful Doll' kit. I'll get better pics up soon. It does need correct drop tanks on it. The 'doll' tanks are wrong from everything I've seen but I was really impressed with the details when compared to a few other WW2 era Revell 1/48 kits I've done recently. eg the a6m zero and 109. The zero didn't even come with a cockpit (just a pilot on a stick) or landing gear wells. Easily scratch built but disappointing when compared to the goodies the p-51 includes for the same price. I have to spend the evening cleaning the fleet. didn't realize how dusty they where.
