Trucker
Hi to all! I'm a new user on this forum. I would like to present you my latest work. This MiG-17 of the 37th Fighter-Bomber Regiment of Drewitz (Germany). Used a Kit of HobbiBoss, photoetching in the cockpit Eduard. Is painted with acrylic paints Gunze. Unfortunately, the color of interior surfaces incorrect. That's because I was trying to match the color of painted photo-etched. This is my main mistake in this model. This is a prototype. tonyot
I`m not really into Soviet Bloc aircraft but yours is a lovely model, well done mate. What time era were these MiG`s in service? Cheers Tony O
Trucker
Thanks Tony! These aircraft were in service from 1971 to 1985. In 1985, some aircraft were transferred to Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau. A few remained in reserve. Except those, there are now in museums, last were recycled in 1991-
