This is the 48th scale Hobbyboss Tucano. Built as an EMB-312F serving with the French Air Force while based at Salon-de-provence AB in 2009. Extras are the fantastic @CaracalModelsdecals, Pavla ejection seats and Quick boost exhausts. It's now my favourite subject in the display cabinet. Cheers, Mick

I have mentioned in previous threads that I have something of a 1940 obsession. It started out innocently enough, with a plan to build at least one example of the aircraft that took part in the Battle of Britain, the Battle itself being another obsession in its own right. With the models I build I wanted to try to tell a wider story than the typical "brave boys in their Spitfires against the mighty Luftwaffe" kind. Dear fellow Britmodellers, here's my 1/72 AZ Model Potez 540 Transport, a re-box of the venerable Heller kit. The model was painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics. All photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. I would like to thank fellow Britmodellers TonyTiger66, VG33, BS_w and Graham Boak for their help in research. Much appreciated! Thanks for your interest, best greetings from Vienna!

Hi everyone ! Here is a 1/72 Mirage 2000d I recently finished ! I always wanted to build one, here it is. The Revell kit was nice, even though it is slightly inaccurate (the wings are to small, some details are missing...). But hey ! it is 1/72 and I wanted to really finish this one (I haven't done any "model finishing" in a long while). I struggled a bit with the painting, the colors might a little to dark. Also I regret that the canopy doesn't fit... it must be made to be open... and I wanted it in flight. Anyway I hope you'll enjoy !!
