  3. Best I can do with my phone camera for the pictures my friends but here she is in flight mode. What a dream of a kit to build. If you can see it the cowling is black alclad gloss primer mixed with a tint of tamiya blue. I will post on ground shots tomorrow. Thanks for the hints and tips. Joel

  7. OK, so we have come close to getting ourselves a bike lol, sorry for the time spent but I'm doing things in order with the instructions but changing the things to make it the model I want it to be, I know you all understand. Thanks again my friends 😊
  8. a little update. I'm so glad I went for the chain. It was a pain in the a... but it has that realistic sag
  9. Good stuff but no matter how much you like German aircraft from that time I don't see why you would want to put German decals on a P 51 mustang my friend
  10. so sorting the forks, not alot but makes such a difference, (new on the left)

  13. couldn't resist showing some of the lightning decals I cut for the Bob "Hurricane" Hanna tribute bike it is going to be
  14. Tamiya extra thin is a must and if you are airbrushing I use mig-ammo, water based and makes things so simple plus you can brush with them no thinning needed but you can if you want. Welcome back and like all of us enjoy and there are plenty of people here as I've found that will give you encouragement and advice when needed
  15. I am going to try to make her looked raced, never tried pigments so that will be a first for me. May just see how dirt from the garden looks. I've been looking at write ups in magazines and may even try some sort of mud splashing that I've seen on rally car models.
  16. getting there, my change of mind from the normal, am doing a Bob Hanna replica. Yet to make some lightning strike decals

  18. front sprocket, chain and rear wheel fitted, I'm learning that I do have some patience and I love this model
