  1. great choice and a well built 757, keep it going!
  2. thanks for watching the videos if help is needed with the clear windows, just contact me! happy to help all the best and by the way, excellent choice of a model!
  3. haha yes we kept them clean most of the time...more or less. I tried to not overdo it thanks! its also one of my favorite schemes thanks Daniel! yes, indeed. It was really a very sad time, but you cant change it.
  4. Haha thank you, that's great! i absolutely feel with you, if the model is well made, it doesn't matter too much what it is. If you are interested, check out the 757. It is my last model and personally i would say it is better than the Etihad 320. haha thanks Dave, allthough i must say it is not my personal number one. Btw the DC8 will be LH cargo. thank you! i always found it important to replicate the visible parts on the flight deck...and sometimes not so visible parts haha thank you! thanks to everyone for your nice comments!
  5. Hey Folks, last one (probably for a year or so...) this A320 was the second in the dual build. Initially it was planned as a custom order in aer lingus colors, but it turned out to be fraud. so my wife choose etihad, where she worked as cabin crew for a couple of years. The etihad base color is quite difficult to mix, again i managed to go MRP only more or less. The decals were used from the Revell kit, and they were a bit stubborn, to be honest. the fit was ok, but its chemical reaction with solution and clear coat was far from ideal. Anyway, in the end a plane rolled out haha. you can find the WIP here: Things i corrected, added and modified: - Full cockpit including displays etc. - Modified cabin windows (shape corrected with masks) - Window blinds - RAT case (scratched) - Wing fuel pumps (scratched) - Pack outlets (3d printed) - APU inlet (3d printed) - Landing lights, beacons, wing lights - Wheel wells from PE - Outflow valve case and flaps - WBF panel screws - ResKit main wheels - Static dischargers (molten plastic, no good idea, next time paintbrush hair again) - Pitots from PE - AoA sensors scratched - Taxi&turn off lights with lenses - Custom decals for WBF seals Hope you like the model. Next models to be build are two 787s, one 773, a763 and a DC8. i think im gonna do at least one WIP, but i dont know yet which one...
  6. hey Andy, thx a lot! its a CFM56 engine! MRP c010 Haha nice! i have flown some of those Busses...
  7. yes, those times were tough. At least you weren't affected. thanks jan thanks Chris! more to come... thank you! i must say i prefer painting liveries. i make my own masks and can make sure it is correct, also the colors are more intense. indeed. Tegel used to be my homebase and i remember working for this company when they had only 20 aircraft. good old times..
  8. Hey Folks, this one is almost OOB. I just masked the livery and only used the small titles for winglets and engines. All paints are Mr.Paint MRP slovakia and silver parts alclad. Stencils from uprise decal and titles from nazca decals. The wheels are add on resin parts, other than that it has no major upgrades. I must say, i regret a little bit the missing cockpit, should have done one. This Model took me a year, it was stored for a while and then i continues. We usually kept our aircraft clean, but a bit of dirt was still visible usually. I scratched all Antennas and clear lights and thinned down + opened the pack inlets. Back then Air Berlin used to be germany's 2nd biggest airline. I was proudly flying for them, allthough in A32X aircraft. Was a great chapter of life. @coneheadff i promised you this one hope you like it...
  9. thanks again for your kind comment, i always thought i am the only one knowing this airline. thx Chris! always trying to deliver Thank you Dave, likewise! Whats next on your list? On the 320 they are quite prominent, happy you appreciate it! thank you!
  10. Hey Folks, next one this A320 was a bit special for me. I flew on it in 1994. My mum hat a strange talent to book leisure holiday trips with cheap travel agencies and the result was me flying with an airline existing for a year or so. Never the less i couldn't forget that trip to AYT and 27 years later this A320 rolled out. Since there are no decals available i had to plot and mask and paint most of it, which i am happy with either way. you can find the WIP here: Things i corrected, added and modified: - Full cockpit including displays etc. - Modified cabin windows (shape corrected with masks) - Window blinds - RAT case (scratched) - Wing fuel pumps (scratched) - Pack outlets (3d printed) - APU inlet (3d printed) - Landing lights, beacons, wing lights - Wheel wells from PE - Outflow valve case and flaps - WBF panel screws - ResKit main wheels - Static dischargers (molten plastic, no good idea, next time paintbrush hair again) - Pitots from PE - AoA sensors scratched - Taxi&turn off lights with lenses - Custom decals for WBF seals hope you like the pictures, still experiementing with backgrounds and cameras. Sorry for the dust, i was a bit untidy in removing it 😕
  11. thx kev! yes thats always a challange in that scale thank you jay for your kind words! i am still improving my skills on photography. thank you so much andy, i will upload some more models in the next days. haha hey paul thx so much 🙏, don't exaggerate but you know what it is like, always try to get a step higher and improve. I do it with every model ,never stop learning and that helps me a lot. haha except this one should look like an older one...but i think i know what you mean. maybe it is time for a diorama...
  12. thank you Alan, it was quite some work indeed. thank you dave for those kind words, really appreciate and hope to see some new models from you soon! thx, i am impressed you saw it. i didn't want to overdo this, and it is hard to catch it well on a photo. 🙏 haha thx alex, i think the same about the 757. It really deserves some work to replicate it well. 🙂 hope to see more models from you soon...i really liked that ANA 787 and the bpk 738! thx mate! i am still experimenting on photography, but i am slowly getting there 🙂 the nose shots are also my favorite, i think the colored windshield glass gives it some realsm.
  13. After 7 months of work, more or less without long pauses, i manged to finish this bird. I have actually no realtionship to the plane, i just liked the livery and i remember seeing it until 2013 in TLV, when we had nightflights to israel. So allthough some people say this kit is more or less flawless, i found quite some errors i had to correct. But in general this kit is inline with other zvezda products. First thing i noticed zvezda obviously was very keen on releasing the kit, probably as much as we modellers were awaiting it. My kit hat a trapped air bubble in the windshield and a short shot MLG. Both things were corrected, one easier and the other one....well - not so. So i started making a copy of the windshield by crafting a silicone mold and casting clear resin with some green/turquoise dye. The short shot MLG was simply fixed with styrene plastic. here is the link for the WIP things i corrected, added or modified: - Clear resin windshield with the typical turquoise colored glas - Full cockpit including customized pilots - Cabin windows casted into the fuselage - Added window blinds - Closed APU exhaust and added a proper exhaust pipe - Added outflow valve case and flap - Replaced all lights with clear parts and lenses - Corrected panel lines at the tail section (zvezda missed one on one side) - Scratched panel lines for the nose gear doors - Added radio altimeters with plastic styrene - Added repair patches on aft fuselage - Added 2 antennas on roof top - Masked most of the livery, except for titles and registration - Made own decals for a few stencils (trim scale) and the registration - Scratch built MLG wheel wells incl. hyd lines - replaced wheels with some resin wheels (bought somewhere in russia...don't ask the brand, can't remember) - Added hyd lines to the MLG - Added Beacon lights, scratch built - Added static dischargers made of brush hair (counted all of them...hate it) - Scratch build all antennas in 0,3mm styrene paper - Added Authentic Airliner etch part pitots and Authentic airliner wiper decals - Masked the cockpit metal frame with own designed masks i probably forgot a couple of things, but those are the main things. If you are interested check out the WIP... this time i made videos on youtube. So, here are the pictures, i hope you like it.
  14. sadly this is again the 4 door configuration and not the flexcabin (i think that was the name) with the overwing exits. 😕 so it is basically like the revell 321N
  15. it is russia! EE knows exactly the prices they can charge in the western world. While in russia, their home country, they wouldn't sell a single kit for these prices. Also it is their intention to sell less kits for higher prices, due to the fact that it is short run (limited amount of kits) and the do not risk licensing issues.
  16. yes, i read about the problem, but i wouldnt use decals anyways. so no problem for me. but this kit is quite far away on my to do list. after the 757 comes a 787 and then lets see... what about your next projects?
  17. mine was build with 26Decals (Boa print) and they were the pure catastrophe. i ripped some of them, when i masked the plane and that caused tons of work. You went the better way... i also have the amodel kit and if i will ever build it then most likely Syrian current c/s or Interflug.
  18. allthough i prefer the aviogenex colors from kenny on it, yours also looks amazing. great job, well done!
  19. awesome, mate! looks really nice, good crafting and of course a great choice, in fact one of my favorite paintjobs on the 134. i built the same in th small scale, but its appearance in 72nd is mighty!! well done
  20. allthough not being a fan of the authentic 3d decals for many reasons, i really like your air UK fleet. i'm a big fan of those vintage 90s liveries and your crafting is solid as usual.
  21. available here for 23 pounds. https://i-modelist.ru/goods/model/aviacija/eastern-express/345/72219.html
  22. very impressive artwork! the colors really look bright - what printer did you use? best regards
  23. Hey Matt! i think this one would have a "go for" livery on the 380, if it was real. Definetly a creative idea and not that far from reality. What i really like is your development in modelling. I was following your WIP threats - especially the "aircraft i have flown". I also would do that but it would be limited to A32X series aircraft only haha 🤣 Its really great seeing this pilot typical approach to modelling, always learn something new, advancing techniques and so... keep on doing it! 👌 best regards from the orange side of flying...
