  1. If I can bring back up this old thread, I have a question about that Tiger Moth N6839. It has a very low demarcation line between the upper and lower colors. Would that indicate the underside is probably silver? And during the period the Scarecrow patrols were flown, late 39 to early 40, would it likely have had the shadow scheme colors on the lower wing? I'd like to build a 1/48 Airfix Tiger as one of the submarine patrol aircraft.
  2. In late 2018/early 2019 Gecko Models released 1/35 kits of the British A9 and A10 Cruiser Tanks that were very well reviewed
  3. Looks great! Are you willing to ship one to the USA?
  4. In a post on a FB modelling group the owner of Bilmodel said the paints are basically the same in composition as MRP paints.
  5. Are these paints a similar lacquer-based formulation to what MRP uses?
  6. I'm not sure if the company is still making the N-3PB. You can send them a message through their Facebook page and ask them. https://www.facebook.com/Scratchaeronautics/
  7. That is beautiful casting work. I hope they consider some of the Pre/Early WWII Soviet aircraft that have never been released in 1/48. Ones that come immediately to mind include the Beriev Be-2 (KOR-1), the Kharkiv KhAI-5 / Nieman R-10, and the Kamov A-7 Autogyro.
  8. Special Hobby, you've done all the pre-work, now give us the Potez 25TOE in 1/48 too!
  9. Well done Airfix for the 1/72 builders. Now that you've done all the research, how about you scale it up to 1/48 for the rest of us?
  10. The cowling of the 152 is noticeably different. References say the 152 had 2 20mm cannons and 2 mgs vs the 151's 4 mgs, and the 152 had the wingspan increased.
  11. For crying out load Airfix, make a darned 1/48 Beaufort already. It is probably the last operational British aircraft of WWII that nobody has made a 1/48 injected kit of.
  12. Now that you have done all the research, how about releasing the Loire 210 in 1/48 as well. :)
  13. Hope it sells well. There is a wealth of China-Japan War aircraft that have not been kitted in 1/48. The Vought Corsairs and Breda 27 would be good candidates.
  14. Good kit to see. Now if only they will follow it with the last major Italian WWII aircraft still ignored in 1/48 scale, the Caproni Ca.310, Ca.311, Ca.314 series.
