  1. Am having one of these.Good to see other lesser known aircraft coming out.
  2. Does anyone have a spare sheet of decals for a Trumpy Mig-3,1/32. Either to buy,or scan and email. My GSD ate mine.
  3. Ok then, whats the best P-47 kit in 1/32? Am stuck between the Trumpy and Hasegawa. Any ideas folks.
  4. Cheers Chadders.
  5. Dunno if this is the right place to ask,but does anyone know how I can get a replacement canopy for me Trumpy MiG-3? tried their website to no avail, and pocketbonds aint up yet. Nearly finished the bugger, when my 8 stone GSD stood on the part in question.
  6. May I point out that it should have double flying wires........................................
  7. I like these old Airfix ships, but was always a bit disappointed in their lack of rigging, and those bloody ratlines. Tho the actual hulls, and the kit in general were nice to build.I've got the Heller 1/50 Chebec started,at the mo,bigger is easier, given me age,and clumsy fingers. Well done mate,it's good to see that someone still builds sail on here.
  8. It's on the south bank of the river, just west of the Alexandra bridge, under what is known locally as Clacheugh rock,(pronounced Clatchy). You cant miss it. I will try and post some pics.
  9. There is a concrete cargo ship that's been abandoned in the river Wear since the end of the war,and I know of a much smaller concrete pleasure vessel, thats been abandoned in a field.
  10. I second the above.I had a much smaller collection, and mine suffered a similar fate, you only got one at a time then.A stash wasnt heard of.Made up for it now tho Much to the dismay of the missus, and me wallet. No radiator in my room either................... BTW,talking of Old Skool, does anyone have the ORIGINAL instructions for the Revell Funfdekker Fokker? I had this kit in the 70's and remember laughing me head off at them.If so,could I have a photocopy of em
  11. Aye,the Roman Galley is still available, its under the Academy label now,was originally under Imai.I built one 30 odd year ago.The Greek galley is to be found on Evilbay,I believe Heller did a version, tho this may be a rebox of the Imai.Zvesda also do said beasties, which may be a larger scale than the Academy. Hope this helps.
  12. I got one of these little beauties for me birthday, and will be more than happy if mine turns out half as good.Well done mate.
  13. Am watching this,as just got one of these from SWMBO for me birthday............................she even said that, and I quote "You dont build subs!" First time for everything..........
  14. WNW kits are,to me,the best value kits around. And,believe me,I've built a few dogs in my time.Ive got a few in the stash, and never had any problems whatsoever with ordering from WNW,However, the PO is a different matter.Even with the charges, they are bloody good value, though there may be some who disagree, but,we're all entitled to our opinions. So,order with confidence from NZ mate,j just factor in the excess charge. Go on,buy a couple, you know you want to......................
  15. Very impressive piece,matelot.
