richellis Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 this year is the plan old chap! BTW the superjet has had a look over in the review section. Cant wait to get my sample of this jumbo! Hope the engines are to the same level as the 787
pperkins Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 I heard that it's jan or feb next year now it looks like the engines are the same style as the 787
madaboutmodels Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Can't wait, plan on doing one as British Airways World Cargo and Korean Airlines
pperkins Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Ya yes the Korean air one will look great
madaboutmodels Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Not sure how to covert the upper deck into a frieghter Not sure how to covert the upper deck into a frieghter
pperkins Posted October 10, 2011 Author Posted October 10, 2011 Best way is to fill the windows and add thin black lines for the cargo doors
Kev1n Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 all it needs now is for the world's airlines to order them....
madaboutmodels Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Best way is to fill the windows and add thin black lines for the cargo doors what about shortining the upper deck
pperkins Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 you just have to a bit of the back and do some good cutting and a lot of filling
pperkins Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 might be able to you will have to wait till its out as not sure how much the diffrence will be to make the cargo one i will be doing mine in cargo so if you waite till i start mine i will let you know how i didi mine and i will see if i can make a replacment part for yours
madaboutmodels Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 i will have to buy it online, i don't think any shops near me are stocking it.
pperkins Posted October 11, 2011 Author Posted October 11, 2011 Most model shops should have the kit the cost for the kit mind is £22
stevesig Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 22 notes - a bargain in this day and age when compared with some of the stuff (should I say Most) from the Far East
pperkins Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 new pictures they say its out next year now
Arpie Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Does look like another great airliner from Zvezda. £22 is a little steep (but still well worth it if the kit turns out the same quality of the Dreamliner) but by the time the 747-8 reaches BA it will have been re-boxed by Revell at more wallet friendly price
pperkins Posted November 15, 2011 Author Posted November 15, 2011 You could be rite what I have seen by the 3d shots it's like the 787 style toolling they r going to send me a sprue test shot then they are completed
Viking Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I'm a bit wary of widebody airliners because of the storage space. But I'm going to be seriously tempted by one of these, Zvezda kits are the mutts nuts and this is sure to be a stunner. John
