  1. Thanks both. Apart from the larger places I listed, what smaller places are worth visiting, especially if they are fairly close together and we can use the bikes to go from one to another. Good places to eat, good sunset locations etc. That's the sort of info I'm after. Thanks Steve
  2. We're stopping near Châteaulin to the north of Quimper in Brittany, France mid-July and are putting together a list of places to go. Any recommendations for places to go, museums, model shops (unlikely I know!) etc. Quimper, Vannes, Nantes, Dinan, Saint-Malo and Mont Saint-Michel are on the list as well as the Lockheed Constellations at Nantes & Discothèque Le Moulin, so anything around those areas would be good to know about. We're taking the bikes so are there are any good routes to use? Cheers Steve
  3. Yes please, I've got plenty of Canberras to have a go at so this will give me a kick to start building them. Steve
  4. Glad to hear it was something simple in the end, they're often difficult to solve remotely without seeing what's on the screen. Steve
  5. Another thing you could try is to click on the three vertical dots under the X at top right and choose Settings. Choose Appearance and then look for the Customise Your Toolbar option, click Reset to Default. There is an option in Chrome to hide the Forward button but I haven't seen one to hide the Back so may be something has got corrupted. If you can't get the Back button to re-appear it might be worth doing a Reset - this is further down from Appearance in the Settings. Steve
  6. If you click on the square near the top right (by the X to close the window) the Chrome window should either get bigger or smaller - does the back arrow show up then? Just wondering if that part of the window is off the left edge of your screen. Steve
  7. So it's not full screen mode then. Repeat the Fn+F11 to show the top part again. What browser are you using? Steve
  8. You may need to hold the Fn key (bottom left corner) down and then press F11 Steve
  9. The Ye-8 is a decent kit, hopefully you can get it finished off soon. Just for inspiration here's mine from 2016. Steve
  10. Well done John it looks very nice. I totally agree with "123 parts all beautifully detailed but most of which don't quite fit". Probably about 40 parts too many as well! What's next? Steve
  11. Very nicely done, the wood effect is excellent. Steve
  12. Thanks, the Avro was a lot of work but I'm pleased with how it's turned out. Steve
  13. Thanks both. It took me ages to get the vanes on the pitot and one of them got eaten by the carpet monster so had to be replaced with a scratchbuilt one. Very fiddly! If you think the Vampires are obsessional we'd better not mention Meteors.... Steve
  14. Thanks, it doesn't seem like four years ago that I did this! I bought two Tudors back in the late 80s so I thought it was about time I did something with one of them.... Steve
  15. That's turned out really well, it is a challenging build but well worth it in the end. Steve
  16. It might be worth installing Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader, they will display the PDF better than Edge or Chrome. Steve
  17. What are you using to view the PDFs? Steve
  18. You can Print to a PDF from Chrome or Edge (and probably most other browsers) which is useful as it's then easily searchable. Click on the three vertical dots near the top right hand corner, choose Print and change to Save as a PDF. Steve
  19. Lovely mix of subjects, well done. Steve
  20. Excellent ouput and quality, well done. Steve
  21. Very good and varied collection. Steve
  22. Lovely collection, well done. Steve
  23. Cheers, I've got a few more DH types still to do. Steve
  24. Thanks, I got more finished than I thought. Steve
